Please read these shipping conditions carefully before using our services. By shipping with Parcel Horse International, you agree to comply with all conditions outlined below.

1. Package Requirements

1.1 Packaging Standards

All packages must be properly packaged to withstand normal handling during transit:

  • Use sturdy boxes or containers appropriate for the contents
  • Secure all items with adequate cushioning material
  • Seal packages with strong tape (minimum 2 inches wide)
  • Remove or cover old shipping labels and barcodes

1.2 Size and Weight Limits

  • Maximum weight: 30kg per package (varies by destination)
  • Maximum dimensions: 120cm x 80cm x 80cm
  • Oversized or overweight packages require special arrangements

2. Prohibited and Restricted Items

2.1 Strictly Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited and will not be accepted:

  • Dangerous goods (explosives, flammable liquids, gases)
  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances
  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Live animals and plants
  • Human remains and ashes
  • Counterfeit goods and pirated materials

2.2 Restricted Items (Special Conditions Apply)

  • Lithium batteries (must be properly declared and packaged)
  • Perfumes and cosmetics (quantity restrictions apply)
  • Electronics (may require additional documentation)
  • Food items (perishable items not recommended)
  • Medicines (prescription drugs require special permits)

3. Documentation Requirements

3.1 Required Documents

  • Commercial invoice (for commercial shipments)
  • Packing list detailing contents
  • Export/import licenses (if applicable)
  • Certificate of origin (for certain goods)

3.2 Customs Declaration

Accurate customs declarations are mandatory for all international shipments. False declarations may result in:

  • Package seizure by customs authorities
  • Additional fees and penalties
  • Delays in delivery
  • Legal consequences for the sender

4. Delivery Conditions

4.1 Delivery Attempts

  • Standard delivery includes up to 3 delivery attempts
  • Packages will be held at local depot after failed attempts
  • Recipients will be notified of collection requirements
  • Uncollected packages may be returned to sender

4.2 Delivery Address Requirements

  • Complete and accurate delivery address required
  • Include recipient's phone number for delivery coordination
  • PO Box deliveries may not be available in all areas
  • Remote area surcharges may apply

5. Insurance and Liability

5.1 Standard Coverage

Basic coverage is included up to £100 per package. For higher value items:

  • Additional insurance must be purchased separately
  • Proof of value required for insurance claims
  • Certain items may not be eligible for insurance

5.2 Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Damage due to inadequate packaging
  • Delays caused by customs or regulatory authorities
  • Loss or damage to prohibited items
  • Consequential or indirect damages

6.1 Express Delivery

Express services are subject to:

  • Availability in destination country
  • Customs clearance procedures
  • Additional service charges

6.2 Tracking and Monitoring

  • Tracking information provided for all shipments
  • Updates may be delayed in remote areas
  • Final delivery confirmation required

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide accurate and complete shipping information
  • Properly package and label all shipments
  • Pay all applicable fees and charges
  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information
